Regulation Director, E-Redes

Rui Gonçalves has been Director of Regulation at E-REDES since 2020.

In his role, he leads internal teams in engagement with regulatory authorities, policymakers and other stakeholders, promoting innovation in the electricity sector and supporting the Energy Transition.

He has 25 years of professional experience in electricity distribution. He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from the Nova School of Business and Economics of NOVA University Lisbon.
